Product Details

This fin plate allows you to add a fin or fin adapter to your inflatable kayak or paddle board. Once in place, you can then use our Slide & Lock Fin Adapter to motorize your kayak or paddle board with a Bixpy J-2 or K-1 Motor. 

This fin box does NOT ship with adhesive as you will need to select your own adhesive depending on what you will be installing to. The fin box material is PVC. So if you're glueing to a PVC surface, you can use a PVC to PVC adhesive. If you're gluing your fin box to another type of surface, you should do some research and make sure to use the appropriate adhesive. If you have doubts about your boat's construction, please contact your boat maker for the best advice or reach out to us and we'll do our best to help at: help@bixpy.com

Can I use other batteries with my Bixpy motor?

Our K-Power Control Module allows you to use virtually any 24V battery to power Bixpy J-2 and K-1 Motors. For best results, we recommend marine-grade LiFePO4 batteries.

Can I use my Bixpy in saltwater?

Absolutely! Our K-1 Motor and Outboard Batteries are constructed of hard-anodized aluminum and marine grade plastics with exclusively stainless steel hardware. This makes them an excellent choice for either saltwater or fresh water.
