Product Details

With the Universal Kayak Adapter, you can attach your Bixpy J-1 Motor to virtually any kayak, canoe, or small watercraft. The aluminum pipes will adjust to accommodate virtually any length and configuration, and the mechanism features an ingenious adjustment arm that accommodates a wide variety of slopes on the back of various watercraft.  

As every kayak is slightly different in shape and configuration, you will need to perform a bit of installation with this adapter. However, rest assured that this adapter ships complete with all the necessary nuts and bolts to complete the job. This is a more complex adapter, requiring higher levels of DIY ability, so it's only recommended if none of our other Adapters fit your kayak and you're comfortable taking on the task of installation or have access to a professional installer.

Can I use other batteries with my Bixpy motor?

Our K-Power Control Module allows you to use virtually any 24V battery to power Bixpy J-2 and K-1 Motors. For best results, we recommend marine-grade LiFePO4 batteries.

Can I use my Bixpy in saltwater?

Absolutely! Our K-1 Motor and Outboard Batteries are constructed of hard-anodized aluminum and marine grade plastics with exclusively stainless steel hardware. This makes them an excellent choice for either saltwater or fresh water.
