Product Details

No drilling. No holes. No hassle. The Bonafide Pod Adapter is the easiest way to motorize your Bonafide kayak—clip it into the Dry Pod opening and you're ready to go in seconds.

This adapter includes the original Bonafide Dry Pod, so you can still store and access your gear without losing functionality. The Bixpy J-1 Motor mounts neatly underneath using a backing plate inside the pod, preserving all interior space for your essentials.

It also features a built-in motor shield for added protection in the event of light impact.

Note: Installing a motor will prevent the use of the pod for transducer installation.

Can I use other batteries with my Bixpy motor?

Our K-Power Control Module allows you to use virtually any 24V battery to power Bixpy J-2 and K-1 Motors. For best results, we recommend marine-grade LiFePO4 batteries.

Can I use my Bixpy in saltwater?

Absolutely! Our K-1 Motor and Outboard Batteries are constructed of hard-anodized aluminum and marine grade plastics with exclusively stainless steel hardware. This makes them an excellent choice for either saltwater or fresh water.
