JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a warehouse and production manager to coordinate assembly of our light goods in San Diego and supervise fulfillment, product returns and repairs. To excel at this position, you must have experience in warehouse management as it relates to product assembly and be mechanically inclined and experienced.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- STRONG organizational skills
- Able to manage inventory for product assembly
- Able to oversee product assembly, make time tables and manage product flow
- Manage incoming and outgoing product from warehouse
- Order and maintain inventory for product assembly and packaging
- Strong computer skills across basic platforms
- Customer service and support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Mechanically inclined and a firm understanding of the use and purpose of light tools, safe operation as such and able to train new staff on tool use.
- Driver's license and car required (car expenses will be covered)
- Desire to help customer in a happy and positive manner
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage assembly and fulfillment staff
- Manage assembly and product timetable and schedule
- Manage product inventory to ensure a smoother assembly line and supply management
- Order and inventory parts for all warehouse needs
- Manage the warehouse premises - order supplies and coordinate with cleaners
- Follow up and resolve customer calls, emails and other inquiries
- Maintain records to track product and customer care
- Manage customer returns and coordinate product repair and customer aftercare
- Process service and repair requests (intake, diagnose, coordinate with technician to queue repairs, invoice and complete request).
REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCE:
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- 1 to 3 years of warehouse/production management experience is required
- Must have experience managing other and making work schedules
- College Degree is required
- Driver's license and car is required
