Coming to a city near you, Bixpy has a few in person appearances planned, and we hope to see you there!

Every year we attend a handful of events to connect with customers and show our support for the local communities. We are working on our 2024 schedule, but we wanted to share what we have so far so that you can mark your calendars to come meet us.

iCast 2024

Taking place July 16-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, iCast 2024 is the largest sportfishing trade show around! Join us at the expo and keep an eye on the schedule for this year:

• Tuesday July 16th is the fishing tournament, demo day for products on the water, and new product showcase reception.
• Wednesday July 17th includes a delicious breakfast with various showcases happening throughout the day, wrapped up with an awards dinner.
• Thursday July 18th and Friday July 19th are all about showcases and awards for the new products being demonstrated.

As the event gets closer, we will share our booth number with you as well as what we plan to have on-site to demo! In the meantime:

Surfdog’s Surf-A-Thon

Benefitting the Helen Woodward Dog Shelter, Surfdog’s Surf-A-Thon is a unique event that is one of our favorites. Sunday September 8th in Del Mar, California from 8am-2pm you will find a host of talented dogs surfing — that’s right, dogs take to surfboards and participate in a surfing competition! Complete with vendors and a costume competition, this is a day of fun in the sun with man’s best friend.

The best part? Proceeds from the day go towards the Helen Woodward Animal Center which is more than just a no-kill shelter for animals — the center provides education and outreach for the community to teach people about animals and even connect pets with those in need of emotional support. The center offers adoption, boarding, meals for homeless animals, educational programs, a traditional animal hospital and mobile vet clinic, therapeutic riding, and therapeutic animal encounters.

2024 is shaping up to be a fun year from expos to surfing competitions. We cannot wait to support these organizations while meeting our customers in person. Be sure to mark your calendars, and stay tuned throughout the year as we add more events to our schedule.
