Extended Service Plan
Additional protection beyond your manufacturer's warranty โ not insurance.
Coverage term
What's included
Defect / failure
Electronic components or battery core that fail under normal use are repaired or replaced at no charge.
Accidental damage
Physical damage not covered by warranty (entanglement, impact, non-warranty water ingress) โ you pay half the repair cost.
Catastrophic loss
One discounted replacement per ESP if the battery is catastrophically damaged or lost. May be new or refurbished.
Priority support
Priority support queue and no-charge diagnostics any time your covered item is sent to Bixpy for evaluation.
What's not covered
- โ Normal cosmetic wear (scratches, dents, discoloration) that doesn't affect function
- โ Normal battery capacity loss from aging or charge/discharge cycles
- โ Consumables and accessories not part of the product's assembly
- โ Damage from misuse, abuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or use contrary to instructions
- โ Environmental / force-majeure events (fire, flooding, earthquake) โ except for the single 50% replacement benefit
- โ Loss or damage occurring before ESP purchase or outside the ESP term
- โ Commercial or rental use unless expressly noted on your receipt
How to get service
Purchase window
Available at checkout with a new Bixpy motor, battery, or kit โ or within 30 days of purchase (provide your order and serial numbers). If purchased after checkout, you must confirm the product is fully functional and not in need of service.
Cancellation & refunds
Limits & other terms
- โน Total benefits will not exceed the original purchase price of the covered product.
- โน Catastrophic/loss replacement is limited to one (1) per ESP.
- โน No coverage for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of use, travel, data) to the extent permitted by law.
- โน Non-renewable and non-transferable, except to a Bixpy-provided replacement of the same unit.
- โน One-time purchase โ no recurring charges.
- โน Applies only to items/periods not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, except where it provides relief not available under that warranty.
If you believe we haven't honored this contract, please contact us. You may also contact the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS) for assistance. Any changes to this Plan must be in writing by Bixpy.
