Coverage term

Defect coverageBegins the day after your 1-year manufacturer warranty ends; runs for 1 additional year.
Accidental damageBegins on delivery date and ends when the ESP term ends.
Covered productA new, genuine Bixpy product purchased from bixpy.com or an authorized dealer, linked to its serial number.

Electronic components or battery core that fail under normal use are repaired or replaced at no charge.

What's not covered

  • โœ• Normal cosmetic wear (scratches, dents, discoloration) that doesn't affect function
  • โœ• Normal battery capacity loss from aging or charge/discharge cycles
  • โœ• Consumables and accessories not part of the product's assembly
  • โœ• Damage from misuse, abuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or use contrary to instructions
  • โœ• Environmental / force-majeure events (fire, flooding, earthquake) โ€” except for the single 50% replacement benefit
  • โœ• Loss or damage occurring before ESP purchase or outside the ESP term
  • โœ• Commercial or rental use unless expressly noted on your receipt

How to get service

Diagnostics & RMAWe'll guide you through troubleshooting and issue an RMA with shipping instructions if needed.

Ship your unitYou cover inbound shipping to Bixpy. Bixpy covers standard return shipping within the Continental U.S.

Repair or replacementCovered defect: no charge. Accidental damage: you pay 50% of the repair quote. Catastrophic/loss: you pay 50% of current retail for one replacement.

TurnaroundRepairs begin within a reasonable time after we receive your unit and any estimate approval.

Purchase window

Available at checkout with a new Bixpy motor, battery, or kit โ€” or within 30 days of purchase (provide your order and serial numbers). If purchased after checkout, you must confirm the product is fully functional and not in need of service.


Cancellation & refunds

Free-look periodCancel within 30 days of receiving the contract for a full refund, provided no claims have been made.
After 30 daysPro-rata refund based on elapsed time, less an administrative fee capped at the lesser of $25 or 10% of the ESP price, and less the value of any benefits already used.
How to cancelEmail info@bixpy.com or call 1-866-249-7910 with your order and serial number. You may also mail a signed request to 7398 Trade Street, San Diego, CA 92121.

Limits & other terms

  • โ„น Total benefits will not exceed the original purchase price of the covered product.
  • โ„น Catastrophic/loss replacement is limited to one (1) per ESP.
  • โ„น No coverage for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of use, travel, data) to the extent permitted by law.
  • โ„น Non-renewable and non-transferable, except to a Bixpy-provided replacement of the same unit.
  • โ„น One-time purchase โ€” no recurring charges.
  • โ„น Applies only to items/periods not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, except where it provides relief not available under that warranty.
