Shipping in full swing

It's been a very busy month here at Bixpy. As most of you already know, we have started shipping out the Bixpy Jets on a much larger scale and we're ramping up shipment almost daily as we learn the intricacies of shipping lithium batteries to our first pre-orders. At the moment we're shipping about 10 to 20 orders per day and we're hoping to ramp that up to about 30 pieces a day in the next two weeks.

We have now received enough thrusters and Outboard Power Packs to fulfill all of our pre-orders for kayak and SUP orders. Unfortunately, due to a late-stage adjustment on the handheld batteries, we are still waiting for another large shipment of those battery packs before we can fulfill all orders in which a swim battery pack is needed. The initial small batch of these has been shipped already so some of you already have your Swim Jets. All remaining orders will be fulfilled in the next 2 to 4 weeks.

LATEST FIXES:

Since the first pilot batch of the product earlier in the fall, we have made more than a dozen adjustments and improvements to the Bixpy Jets, adapters, batteries and even the remotes. However, as this is such a new product with so many moving pieces, we do occasionally come across something that was either overlooked in production or simply is not performing the way we had expected in the field. We are 100% committed to making sure everything works and performs to our standard and as such, we want to address all of these issues as quickly as possible and ship out replacements and solutions as soon as we can make them available.

At the moment, the pipe clip on the Universal, Transom and Pro-Angler adapters need to be replaced for everyone (see picture below). The material used to make this piece was wrong and it does not offer the required flexibility and in many cases breaks in the first few uses. We have already tested a few other materials and have finalized a new variation of plastic for this clip. The new clips have been ordered and due to arrive in San Diego in the next two weeks (or hopefully less). If you already have one of these adapters, we will ship you replacement clips as soon as we receive them. If you're waiting for an order of one of these adapters, we may hold your order until we have the new clips and ship out with the new clips depending on your shipping location. As small as these clips are, they render the entire product useless when they break.
